When warriors or hunters anticipate being away from their village for an extended period of time, they take along a live captive to provide a fresh source of food.

One day the author's expedition happened upon a young female captive trying to escape such a hunting party.  We freed her from her bonds and sent her on her way.

A few hours later we came upon the same woman hidng from her would be captors.  Fascinated by the drama in front of him the author took the picture, below, which, unfortunately, gave away the hapless woman’s hiding place.
