One of the cooks begins to tie the hands of the unhappy woman around the stake from where she will be forced to watch as the cooks make preparations to roast her body.  Realizing escape is impossible, the victim submits meekly while dancers lead the peopl in celebration.   Once the rope has been secured around her first wrist, the cook will take the arm with which she shields her eyes from the awful proceedings and bind her wrists together.  Unfortunately, the author ran out of film and was not able to obtain any pictures of the woman as she roasted.  The author was, however, lucky enough to obtain a decorative bowl and plate made from the woman’s skull and pelvis, respectively, which he proudly displays as examples of native craftsmanship in his office at the university.
