An unhappy woman tries frantically to think of a way out of her desperate situation.  Naked and helpless, surrounded by hungry savages intent on boiling her alive and eating her flesh, she is seized by panic.  The fire beneath her drives her every thought as she wonders, did she or didn't she turn off the stove before she left on safari.  Suddenly, she knows what to do. She asks if the natives have a telephone.  Alas, they do not.
