Unknown to the rest of the world, one nation in the vicinity of the Titti Islands, still punishes its more notorious female criminals by banishing them to what is believed to be a desert island.  The locals claim that the women have been arriving from the sea for centuries, and for centuries, each new delivery of prisoners has been celebrated with a feast to thank the god of the sea for his bounty.  The locals are shown busily preparing the banquet while one of the prisoners who has been spared for another occasion gets a foretaste of what her future holds.  The victim cooking in the pot, driven mad by fear and delirious from her torment, is shown having regressed briefly into an infantile state of mind.
